I’ve recently purchased your book which features photos of men road bowling in west cork
I’d like to correct you
These photos were all actually taken in the village of lankill four miles outside westport co mayo where I myself live
I remember the very day you took these photos
I was probably 13 or 14 years old
Some of the characters have since past away but some are in good health but no longer play the sport
