Muhammad Ali with schoolboy on Sport in Action (1972)

American boxer Muhammad Ali exchanges a mock punch with an unidentified schoolboy (from Presentation College, Bray, County Wicklow), in RTÉ Television’s Studio 1 in July 1972. Ali was in studio for an interview conducted by Michael O’Hehir for RTÉ Television’s ‘Sport in Action’. Muhammad Ali was in Dublin for a fight with Al ‘Blue’ Lewis at Croke Park on 19 July – Ali won the fight in the eleventh round. This interview was broadcast on 13 July 1972.
