Pianist Leif Ove Andsnes with students from St. Mary’s School for Deaf Girls photographed participating in KBC Feel the Music at the National Concert Hall on Sunday. The children experienced “The Beethoven Journey” with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, led by conductor and pianist Leif Ove Andsnes, which has invited deaf children in Italy, Germany Belgium and the Czech Republic to explore how music can be experienced with all the senses. This was the first time the project, a series of 3 workshops, has been held in Ireland. www.nch.ie
