Is it just a Cobh thing that 20,21 year olds can’t go for someone there own age they have to go 5 or 6 years younger

A glorious, god-awful mess has been made of Irish Water. We’ve ended up with a system now that no rational person would have invented if they had sat down to put this kind of system together. The hope must be that it will work lamely until some sort of coherent system is put in place.

I drifted across Roaringwater Bay in near calm conditions. By the time I got to Heir Island the wind had increased to no more than a force 2 southerly. It was a long beat against the tide through the narrows between Cunnamore and Heir, Sherkin and Turk Head and finally Sherkin and Spanish Island, the still smouldering scene of the previous day’s gorse fire.
