At the 40th annual Vintners‚Äô Federation of Ireland conference at Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim, Co. Meath yesterday, VFI
President Gerry Rafter slammed Government inaction over alcohol legislation which he said is costing 38 jobs a week.On the back of VFI research illustrating a difficult first quarter for members, an emergency AGM motion opposed the extreme austerity measures currently implemented by government.  

Alcohol: It’s not a drug – it’s a drink. Educate yourself, stupid.
